The year before last now it was so bad that there is no conifer cones at all and this summer it was so cold that all the spruce sprouts died and I think there is no cones this year either. The great tits have already asked for food and they get when I go to store (the way to the stores is 60 kilometers long so I don't do it often once/month or ones/2 months.
The Squirrels are not asking food yet but when they do, they do it very hard way. And in winter they stand on the window lintel and two paws on the window looking straight into my bed if I am there. The climate chance maks much harm for each and every animal.
Last autumn when I had stopped feeding there cane a poor little thing which was skinny and tha tail was awful...I thought that cannot be mine and at the same moment I saw when one of my fat Squirrels was climing up to the spruce. I wish the poor Squirrel comes this year back in time.
Some people hunt it when there is time for a short time. I try to keep my squirrels safe. The trap hunting is allowed only in the northest Finland; I wonder how they hunt it. Nobody in Lapland hunt it.
