Ask 'the Big 5' for Talking Buses!

"I am a guide dog owner and used to go to University in London where I could not believe the freedom I had to travel on London buses. I have never felt so confident and reassured on a bus before... When University finished and I came back home, I went back to having the fear of never being quite sure if I was on the right bus, or where I might end up. If all buses in the country could be 'Talking Buses' I would feel far less worried and stressed and would actually have the freedom to travel wherever I wanted to." - Jacqueline, pictured

Did you know that just five bus operators, known as 'the Big 5', run 67% of bus services? People with sight loss need audio-visual announcements (AV) on buses so that they know where they are on their journey and what the next stop is, but whilst some of the Big 5 have AV on some of their fleet, none have committed to installing it on all of their new buses.

Please sign our petition asking the Big 5 to commit to making all new buses accessible to all passengers, especially those with sight loss. Even if your area isn't covered by one of these companies we still need your support!

Sign this petition to tell 'the Big 5': Please ensure all of your new buses are equipped with this vital solution.
