The state of Kerala is experiencing severely hot weather and there is a drought. AT THIS MOMENT there is severe water and food shortage in the forests. As a result the animals are coming into the villages to look for water and food. A wild elephant was coming into the village Kanchikkodo of Palakkad district in Kerala. The Kerala Government t has done absolutely NOTHING to help the animals in the forest. As a result all the wild animals are suffering immensely. There were reports that elephants in search of water and food were straying into neighbouring villages threatening the life of villagers and destroying crop. THIS WILL INCREASE WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE ELEPHANT/VILLAGERS CONFLICTS with victims on both sides.
We demand the Kerala Government to act immediately and to help the animals overcome these difficulties in finding food and water until the drought has come to an end. Don't wait until victims will fall. HELP THE ANIMALS NOW!

Dear Sirs,

We the citizens of the world are concerned about the problems the wild animals are at the moment facing in the forests of Kerala. There is a drought going on and the animals are desperately searching for food and water. It came to our attention, that nothing has been done so far to help these animals survive these severe circumstances. A wild elephant entered a village in Kanchikkodo in Palakkad District in Kerala today, creating a real risk for any person coming on its way. The animal was in search for food and water. When nothing is done, this will create more risks and an increase in human/elephant conflicts.

So many people have signed this petition to ask to immediately take action and provide food and water for the wild animals in Kerala.

Please come to immediate action.

Regards.
