Investigate Dog Taken From Homeless Man To Determine Any Wrongdoing

It is difficult enough to live on the streets without a home, security and a loving family but when a homeless man had his dog companion ripped out of his arms in Paris, it was very disturbing and sad.  A dog can be a crucial benefit in the life of a homeless person needing companionship. A group known as Cause Animal Nord intervened because they believed that the dog was not being treated properly.

A video surfaced at http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/news/world/video-animal-rights-group-taking-puppy-homeless-ma/nnpwq/ depicts the group snatching the dog away from the homeless man while the poor animal was crying.  The problem is that there are conflicting stories regarding this situation.  The group taking the dog states that “We intervened because it was urgent for the animal. It is very easy to turn images of context or some about to attack and defame.”

The homeless man defended his right to his dog, saying he could prove the animal was indeed legally his, which did not impress the group.  We want to ensure that there was no wrongdoing involved, either with the homeless person or the group who suddenly ripped his only companion out of his arms without warrant.

We are asking that a full investigation be conducted to determine if there is any wrongdoing involved in taking the man’s pet away from him.  He was seen crying and running after them to get his animal back.  You can help up in our efforts to get justice by signing and sharing this petition.

Paris Police Department, Paris Police Chief Michael Madden – There is grave concern regarding the Cause Animal Nord group that snatched a dog away from a homeless man right on the streets.  The dog was screeching to be traumatized in this manner while the man cried and ran after those taking his dog.  They allege that he did not treat the animal properly.  We are asking for a full investigation into any wrongdoing, whether on the group’s part or that of the homeless man.  If your findings show that this man was well in his rights, treated his dog properly and deserves the companionship, the dog or one similar needs to be returned to him immediately. Gain some justice for this homeless person and his dear companion.
