Stop Prop 23 in its Dirty Oil Tracks! Vote No on Prop 23!

Californians in 2006 voted for AB32, officially titled The Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. This is a landmark piece of legislation signed by Gov. Schwarzenegger  that set the 2020 greenhouse gas emissions reduction into law, with a goal of  reducing emissions to1990 levels.
Prop 23 seeks to repeal AB32 indefinitely, and in fact permanently, by mandating that AB32 be "suspended" until California unemployment levels drop to 5.5% or below for four consecutive quarters, a rate only seen three times since 1970.
Prop 23 is 80 percent funded by the Koch Borthers and Tesoro and Valero Texas Oil Companies, the later of which uses the dirtiest oil in the state of California.
Tell the Koch Brothers and The Texas oil companies Valero and Tesoro that California says no to Prop 23 now and on the November ballot.  (The Yes on 23 campaign has raised $8 million -- 97 percent of which comes from oil, and 89 percent of which comes from out of state -- the contribution figure will update as more figures become available to the public).
California  already voted YES to clean air and clean energy jobs with AB32 and no to big oil. We see you're trying to pull the wool over our eyes with your funding of Prop 23. We plan to stop you in your dirty oil tracks!

We the Undersigned protest against the Koch Brothers and Texas Oil Companies Tesoro and Valero. Prop 23 is not representative of California's interests, but only that of the Koch Borthers and Big Oil.
We already voted for AB32. That bill enjoys wide support from a broad range of Californians. AB32 will provide jobs in our state, the kind of jobs we want in our economy -- Clean Energy Jobs
