Premarin foals need your help. Over 40,000 healthy foals are killed per year needlessly, because Wyeth-Ayerst Inc. uses their mothers urine in a hormone replacement drug called premarin when a alternitive product is available; the foals are simply by-products.

Premarin is a hormone drug containing urine from pregnant mares. A few months after a healthy foal is born, he/she is taken to a feedlot. When he/she reaches the proper weight the foal is killed and consumed as food. This same fate comes to many mares. There are over 70,000 mares in premarin farms, and over 40,000 foals. If you imagine yourself as a pregnant mare with your day-to-day life consisting of living in cramed quarters, deprived of water (to concentrate urine), little or no exercise or grooming being impregnated as soon as you give birth, and your foal is taken away in a few months and shipped off, you will see the cruel and inhumane conditions that could be easily avoided.
