Dear Governor Corzine;
By signing this petition, we encourage you to seek other non-lethal means of black bear population control. We strongly oppose any further black bear hunts in New Jersey and encourage the removal of black bear from game status, the bear exclusion zones, and fully support the creation of a black bear study commission utilizing the format suggested in assembly bill A525. We strongly support the passage of this bill in the legislature, and encourage your signing it into law.
