A petition to reverse the cancellation of the evening entertainment for the Chalfont St Peter Feast day of 2016

The Chalfont St Peter Feast day is always the biggest and best day of the calendar year for almost every local involved. It brings immeasurable benefit to local business as well as bringing together people from all different social circles, faiths, ages and subcultures. However, although the day brings fantastic entertainment from local schools and performers, the main event of the day is always the evening performance routinely occupied by a cover band. Each year the common fills with thousands of people and by the evening it is packed with everyone singing, dancing, drinking and having nothing short of a brilliant time. Friendships are rekindled and memories are shared. It has been the best evening of the year for me and all my friends for the past 5 years and this year, tragically, the evening performance has been cancelled due to parking complaints last year and innaproprate behavior. Although there may be a slight case for this, it is a very, very small amount of people that are both causing these issues and being affected by them. This petition exists as a plea to both those groups of people to let your hair down and give up your ways for one evening, but Mainly for any individual who has loved the feast day any of the years it has existed, and doesn't want it to disappear out of their lives this coming summer!
