Don't Give the Government Permission to Lie!

Federal agencies are attempting to enact a rule that would allow them to blatantly lie to the people. The proposed rule change to the Freedom of Information Act would allow federal agencies to deny the existence of national security or law enforcement documents to those who request them, even if the documents really do exist.

If people are led to believe such lies, the justice system will become seriously skewed and the integrity of the government compromised.

It should never be legal for the government to lie to our faces. Urge your Congress person to veto this amendment to the Freedom of Information Act! The people deserve to know the truth!
Dear Decision Maker,

Saying something doesn't exist when it does is a lie. It is neither right, nor fair. You cannot allow government agencies to turn America's judicial system upside down and deny the existence of law enforcement and national security documents.

The American government prides itself on delivering "justice for all", and that phrase should include the government, themselves, as well.

If this rule is passed, it will jeopardize the state of our government and our judicial system as it stands today.I urge you to vote against the proposed rule change to the Freedom of Information Act. The integrity of the government is at stake.
