Support Bob Eastwood in his campaign to help Blackburn Market traders get a better deal

We have an award winning six-day market on our doorstep. Why does the council fail to acknowledge this?

Our market traders are hard working and dedicated with a determination to serve quality and value that is second to none why is this not recognised by the council?

The market is the first port of call for many visitors to the town and a social hub for a lot of local people. Why is it not treated as a priority by the council?

Why are there so many empty shops in Blackburn Town Centre, making it a ghost town?

Why have town centre businesses not been given a reduction in rates and service charges whilst regeneration work has been ongoing?

“As MP for Blackburn I promise I will do my best to make ‘One Blackburn’ and work tirelessly for the people who live, work or are educated in the town. One of my priorities is to help small businesses, including market traders, to get a fairer deal from the local council and to this end I ask you to sign this petition which I will present to the council in the hope they will listen to the people they serve.”
