PLEASE HELP TO GET BULLET THE DOG HOME!!

Bullet was seized by Rochdale police from his loving home on the 22nd August 2016 under Breed Specific Legislation, Section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. He is a loving American bulldog cross and his owner is distraught and wants her baby back home where he belongs.

Someone had rung claiming that her dog was a Pit Bull type dog when they have never met Bullet, so how can they judge him? He is loving, well trained very obedient and a big softy. He has never attacked a human being or any other animal, but he's been attacked by two dogs in the past and hasn't even retaliated. There has never been a problem with Bullet in the three years that his owner has had him.

There is no evidence to support the notion that some breeds or types of dog are, by their nature, more dangerous than others. Breed specific legislation punishes certain types of dogs for the way they look and fails to consider a dog's individual behaviour when determining whether or not they are dangerous.

PLEASE sign and share Bullet's petition to help get him home where he belongs. Thanks in advance xx
