Public Demands Full-fledged Investigation into Dog Murders in St.Bernard Parish
We the concerned citizens and pet owners are demanding a full-fledged investigation into the demonic murders of dogs in at least 3 publicly known locations within St. Bernard’s Parish in the 4 weeks subsequent to Hurricane Katrina.
During those 4 weeks, not one single animal rescuer was allowed to enter the Parish to perform pet rescue operations; even under the instructions and pleas of the pet’s owners. This rejection it itself, by law enforcement was nothing short of cruel and inhumane. Several rescuers even reported being physically threatened by officers, while postured with weapons in hand.
In light of what we now know took place, obviously within days of Katrina, it is apparent as to why rescuers were refused entrance into the Parish. In addition, the immediate concern to clean up the city without allowing pet rescuers in held suspicions as well.
The claim is that no one in the Sheriff’s Department knew about these killings until the first site was discovered by a rescuer. This hardly seems plausible under the previously stated circumstances. As the sites were discovered, each murderous scene became more gruesome and heinous. Specifically, the tortuous sexual abuse of a little white female dog posed with her rear legs spread apart and on her back with a bloody sex toy. It’s as if this represented some kind of sick satanic ritual by sacrificing innocent dogs. Rescue Organizations can provide vivid photos of the scenes, so there is no denial as to what was found at each site. There is a photo of blood from the animals that was collected in what appears to be a paint pan.
We should also mention other shootings that didn't take place in the schools. There are shootings on video, and pets shot in the presence of the owners.
In addition, it is public knowledge that Officer Mike Minton did in fact shoot several dogs, and has admitted it. Journalists even reported hearing gunshots in the night, but on one bothered to investigate.
We believe there is sufficient evidence being hidden and that these acts were knowingly and deliberately performed by one or more “sociopathic degenerates.” Animal abuse precipitates more violent behavior and therefore, this issue needs to be addressed.
This investigation should be performed from outside governmental authorities, in conjunction with a reputable animal cruelty prevention organization, and so that is it unbiased, and scrupulously conducted. Louisiana officials shall provide unimpeded cooperation.
According to the laws of Louisiana, the torturous killing of animals is a felony criminal offense. We demand that justice is carried out for these crimes against the innocent pets AND their owners. These despicable crimes have violated the very souls of those dogs, moreover, the very core of the owners whom had already lost everything.
