Protect Washington's Workers and Students

No one should have to decide between a paycheck and their health, and no student should have to take on insurmountable debt just to get an education.

Right now, Governor Inslee is fighting to guarantee paid sick leave for workers, and to raise the state minimum wage to $12 an hour. His proposed budget would bring some fairness to the state's tax structure—the most unfair tax system in the nation.

He also plans to keep the lid on skyrocketing higher education costs, with more financial aid for public universities and scholarships for 17,000 more Washington students.

As Washington looks to the future, it's vital we improve the state's schools, repair our infrastructure, and create jobs.
