Offer Condolences to the Family of Stephanie Tubbs Jones

Target: The Family of Representative Tubbs Jones
Sponsored by: Care2
Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, a Democratic representative from Ohio, spent her time in Congress championing wealth building and economic development, access and delivery of health care and quality education for all. Rep. Tubbs Jones passed away from a brain hemorrhage on August 19, and her gracious spirit and outstanding lawmaking will be missed.

A member of the House Ways and Means Committee and chair of the Ethics Committee, Rep. Tubbs Jones co-sponsored the Child Abuse Protection and Enforcement Act in 2000 and supported hundreds of other pieces of legislation on progressive causes. This is a profound loss of a strong advocate for civil liberties, women's rights, equality and reproductive rights.

Tears and joy for the life of a special woman who was one of the best things about being a human. She made me proud to be a transplant to Buckeyeland (it ain't Ohio State!) Let her message live on through the energy she inspires in others for making the world better!
