We request the removal of these two on air personalities, for biased, inaccurate reporting.
This is a problem seen over and over with both Nancy Grace in general, and Diane Dimond on her coverage of the Michael Jackson trial in particular.
Numerous instances of not reporting the defense case as deeply or as fairly as the prosecutions. Numerous instances of using jokes, sarcasm and fluff to ignore one side of the case. Numerous instances of not only showing a prosecution bias, but an agenda to keep the public UNINFORMED about the defense case, even though Court TV prides itself on showing all sides of a case.
Worse, BOTH these women, continually repeated misinformation, and facts that simply were untrue when compared to the testimony and the transcripts of the case.
Court TV has lost much of its credibility due this, and even though we believe it is a global problem at the station, the antics of nancy and diane during the 14 weeks of trial went well beyond informing the public and turned into a public conviction by media.
This is NOT what should happen when a trial is covered in our opinion, and the media should NEVER be simply an "arm of the prosecution". They must be removed.
