Pledge to be a California health voter

The future of health in California is on the ballot this November, so health-conscious voters like you need to stand up and make themselves heard on Election Day.

You can make a major difference for millions of kids, seniors, and working families by voting YES on these critical ballot initiatives:

Proposition 52, or The Medi-Cal Funding and Accountability Act will help hospitals meet the needs of patients — without raising taxes — by permanently allocating $3 billion a year in federal matching funds for Medi-Cal, the critical program that provides health coverage for 1 in 3 Californians.

Proposition 55, or The California Children’s Education and Health Care Protection Act, ensures that kids get the high quality education and care they deserve by extending current income tax rates on the very wealthiest Californians.

Proposition 56, or The California Healthcare, Research, and Prevention Tobacco Tax Act of 2016, will increase California’s cigarette tax by $2 per pack, with an equivalent increase on other products containing nicotine. Among other health benefits, increasing cigarette prices have proven to help drop teen smoking rates.

Pledge today to vote YES on Props 52, 55 and 56 at the polls, and join our community of health-conscious voters.
