I am a Senior citizen living on a fixed income and since i been on Medicare i don't have enough money to buy medication and pay for all my bills and repair stuff when it brakes so i land up in debt getting loans and using credit cards.
I know several older people having lot of problems trying to survive . Its hard for young people but most are able to work extra if need but with seniors most have lot of chronic conditions and many are unable to seek out more jobs so life is in a fixed condition with serious bad health and we have hard time finding help for coping with problems we face.
Buying medication creates many problems to live we need special medication for some health problems and many are name brand which medicare or insurance will not cover completer price and since we got to have it to live no choice must buy it what not covered. Then you use money needed for other part of living life. This means credit cards or bank loans. This mean we get deep into debt with little hope left.
Seniors have to look for other places to find help. Government and other programs and some times laws need to be changed to help people not able to help them selves .
If for some reason there is no help available then asking law makers to go thru process to change law so sick seniors can get some help with health care problems and be able to survive.
