Please Don't Spam Me, Yahoo!
Yahoo! recently changed their privacy policy to automatically sign people up to receive special announcements, direct mailings and even phone calls in a few product areas.
This is not acceptable! We receive too much junk email and do not need more.
Please sign below to send a message to Yahoo telling them that we don't want to be automatically signed up for anything!
Dear Jerry Yang and David Filo (co-founders of Yahoo),
We have recently learned that you have altered the preferences settings on all email accounts to automatically sign email users up for multiple direct solicitations via email, direct mail, and phone. We consider this change completely unacceptable and hope that you will reconsider. Please return to your previous practice of making this options "opt-in" so that only those who want to receive solicitations will receive these. Otherwise they become unwanted spam email that clutters our in-box and makes Yahoo! no better than any of your competitors.
