Support Israeli Peace Activists Who Keep West Bank Settlements in Check

Settlement building in the West Bank undermines the prospect of peace for Israel. And the settlers and their allies often try to hide information on settlement expansion from the general public.

Enter Peace Now activists, pro-peace Israelis who go to the West Bank to collect data on when and where settlements are constructed. Without this information, settlements will expand unchecked and a two-state peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians becomes much harder.

Secret documents published by WikiLeaks reveal that the information collected by Peace Now is so reliable that even the U.S. State Department and the Israeli Defense Ministry seek it out.

But getting settlement data -- much of which settlers would prefer remain hidden from public scrutiny -- has its costs. The activists who piece it together have been called traitors and some have even been physically attacked.

Stand in solidarity with the courageous men and women who shine a light on settlements to promote peace.
Dear Activist,

Thank you so much for the critical work you do to shine a light on what's really happening in West Bank settlements. The data you collect -- at your own personal risk -- is critically important to the effort to bring peace to Israel.

Israel deserves peace. Peace depends on the work you do. Know that American friends of Israel are proud of your efforts.
