Support the Separation of Church and State and Equal Rights for All Americans

A recent study conducted by the Pew Research Center showed that 20% of Americans do not identify with any religion.

Despite this recent rise in nontheism, religious fundamentalism is still prevalent in government. We see this with attempts to teach bogus theories like "creationism" in public school science classrooms, efforts by members of Congress to introduce policies that affect everyone based on their personal religious beliefs, and constant attempts by political leaders to break down the wall of separation between church and state.

Nontheist activism is still greatly needed and there’s never been a more exciting time to be a part of the freethought movement. We won't rest until the stigma around nontheism is erased for good. Join the Center for Humanist Activism and the Freethought Equality Fund PAC in pledging your support for a robust separation of church and state and equal rights for all Americans including those who don't subscribe to any religious belief.
I pledge to fight for a robust separation of church and state, protect the rights and liberties of everyone regardless of religion, and help erase the stigma around nontheism.

Furthermore, I believe that religious fundamentalism has no place in the national political dialogue. I oppose all legislative amendments that discriminate against and marginalize individuals based on one's personal religious beliefs.
