A Cessation to the Illegal Brutal Practices of Farra-do-Boi in Brazil

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that Mr. Luiz Henrique da Silveira as the Governor of Santa Catarina and Mr. Joao Henrique Blasi as the State's Secretary of Public Defense, put a stop to the illegal, brutal practices of FARRA-DO-BOI that are still carried out in Santa Catarina's coastal communities, by ensuring effective local police enforcement, especially during the upcoming HOLY WEEK celebration in APRIL 2004.

We, the undersigned, will NOT support Santa Catarina state businesses who sponsor the Farra-do-Boi, will NOT visit the state and will NOT buy their products until the Farra-do-Boi is banned.
