Petition to ask J.C. Penney to stop selling raccoon dog fur trimmed apparel.

  • by: Karen Burroughs
  • recipient: Myron Ullman, Chairman of the Board and CEO, J.C. Penney
Penney's has decided to continue selling coats with fur trim made from the canine species related to the dog that we all have as pets. We ask that they immediately stop selling raccoon fur trimmed items.
Until this decision is reached, we ask that persons who agree, refrain from purchasing from J.C. Penney's.
Mr Myron Ullman,
CEO, J.C. Penney,

Penney's has long been an established part of retail in the U.S. with a large following in middle America.
It is with horror and revulsion that we find you have decided to continue to sell apparel with fur from a relative of the common dog. This is against the ethics, principles and values that we hold. We hope that you will reconsider and make Penney's a fur free organization as many other popular retailers have become.
