Introduce 65km Dusk till Dawn Limits along the East Derwent Highway between Old Beach and Bowen Park
To reduce the large amount of wildlife being unnecessarily killed along the East Derwent Highway between Old beach and the Bowen Bridge and also reduce the dangers to drivers.
Dusk till Dawn reduced speed limits have been successfully implemented under other councils in what seem to be lower risk areas and I believe this would be of benefit to both our community and our precious wildlife.

We would like to express our wish to have a reduced speed limit introduced along the East Derwent Highway between Old Beach and Bowen Park.
It is with reflection on the massive loss of life and destruction to our wildlife along with the dangers to drivers in low visiblity conditions that we ask you to consider this request seriously.
Reduced Speed limits between Dusk till Dawn are an effective way to protect our wildlife and community in high risk periods while minimising impact to traffic.
