The Australian Government has recently commissioned and received a report that gives tacit approval for an Australian nuclear energy industry.
We request that similar degrees of research are undertaken in the fields of other energy sources (eg, solar, geothermal etc) before the Australian Government makes any commitment to establishing a potentially dangerous nuclear programme.
