Tell the U.S. Forest Service: Yellowstone is more precious than gold!

A Canadian mining company — Lucky Minerals, Inc. — is asking to drill a proposed massive gold mine near Yellowstone National Park.

This massive mine threatens to permanently destroy habitat for grizzly bears, lynx, peregrine falcons, wolverines, big horn sheep, and other wildlife. It could also devastate the valley's streams and groundwater and pollute the world-famous Yellowstone River.

We only have until August 20th to make our voices heard! With 2,500 acres of mining claims on public and private lands just miles from the world's first national park, your help is needed to slam the door on this very bad idea!

The current proposal by Lucky Minerals assesses the potential to develop a copper, gold, silver, or molybdenum mine by drilling at least 70 exploration holes in Emigrant Gulch, Montana.

The goal is to kill this mine, however, the first step is to ask the U.S. Forest Service to conduct a complete Environmental Impact Statement. They must analyze and expose the immediate, cumulative, and future impacts of the proposed mining activity of this proposed project on our public lands.

Please sign this urgent petition and help stop this gold mine and protect Greater Yellowstone now and for future generations.
