Any mother who has been accused of child abuse by someone they know (ex-boyfriend, spouse, friend, etc.)should not have their child removed from their place of residence.
In all cases of child abuse accusations, the accuser should be investigated thoroughly also.

I agreed for 12 months and now that his 12 months are almost up he's taking me back to court for full custody and wrongly accusing me as being unfit. In our marriage he constantly called DCF on me and nothing ever came of it I was told that they would investigate because he was comitting a crime by wrongfully acusing me and they never did. I can't afford an attorney and need on in FL and in HI. He makes more money than I do and can afford to do this. If any one know how to get an attorney to work pro bono PLEASE HELP me!!!!!! | |

Then in i believe it was 1997 or 1998 by this time i had three other children who where very happy and in a safe home , Well my oldest son was in the care of his grandma and in 1998 one day i called and had my oldest son's grandma bring him to me so that me and my kids could spend some time with him well she did but she was in a hurry to leave for some reason but i stoped her from leaving right away my son runs up to me and i picked him up and held him on my side like everyone does when they are caring their child and my son says aww mommy you are hurting me and i said what where and he points down to his private area and his grandmother takes off at this point she got the hell out of their so i hed my son show me where it hurts even in front of friends in case it was something bad and when he did i freaked out he had hudge burns on his inner thighs area by the testicals i asked my son what happened and he told me that granpa did it [He realy was not his granpa] so i got my son in the car and i went over to confront his grandma and her husband about it and they tried to tell me that my son had ran and jumped up onto the bed so to proove this i asked my son to run and jump up onto the bed well he tried but he was to short he could not get up their so i asked his grandma if my son had cloths on or if he was naked well she tells me that he had cloths on so i told her to let me see the pants that he sposly had on so she showed me and their was no burns what so ever in the pants so i knew automaticly that my son is being abused and possably sexualy abused so i took my son and went to cps and they told me that grandparents don't do stuff like that so i went back and made his grandma report this abuse to cps and i went with her to make sure it got done that's when cps went and finaly steped in so the next thing i know where going to court and my son was then placed back into cps custdy , At this point cps finaly asked me if i wantde custdy of my son and as much as i did want him but my hands where tied like i said i already have three and out of all these years that i've fight you guys on giving me custdy of my son you are now wanting me to have him i would of loved having my son but i had three at home and two of them had medical problems there was no way that myself alone could handle taken care of another it was bad enough trying to keep my son safe all those years and take care of my other three children. so after this we where giving another court date and this time cps threatened me that if i don't sign my rights away to my son that they where going to take my other three from me and i was not going to allow that to happen so i signed my rights away to my son and what do you know about two or three weeks later cps comes to my house and they demand to take my second oldest child the one with the most medical problems away from me and a short time later about a week they are back taken my other two from me i always taught my kids from infancy on up about stranger danger so when they came to get my last two children from me my daughter who was about three of four she ran as i was putting my youngest son in the car she ran towards the ally she was so upset she could'nt hardly speak through the crying i had to chase her down and make her come back and she said to me but you told us to run when some stranger tries to take us away [ I FELT REALY BAD FOR HER] I never thought that in a million years that my kids had ever listened to a thing i had ever tried to teach them and it made me feel so good to know that they where actualy listening to everything i was teaching them , I wraped my daughter up in my arms and told her i know and what i taught you is real and i want you to believe that but in this case honey you have to go i don't want you to but have to go and i let her know that i will see her again soon i was never allowed my children back ever again i refused to sign my rights away to my children and in 2000 my three children where adopted into an abusive home the adopted mother had them for a short time fostering them before adopting them when but while she was fostering them my second born child tells me that this woman was abusing my youngest son and when he told me that i told him to tell cps worker what he told me and he did right in front of me and she said that she would have it investgated but later found out at the adoption meeting that she had not reported it to the right person so i had no choice but to go off on the adopted mother about it. Till this day it's an open adoption and me and my children get to write back and fourth and send pictures and they have since moved , But none of them have any idea that i know where they live so sometimes i ride by their to make sure i don't see any of my children being abused. As for my oldest son it was ordered that he is not to be adopted so with me trying to fight his grandma's side of the family from getting him his dad's cousin and his wife ended up getting custdy of my son and last year i hear that they had taken him out of state to adopt him my son is now going on 20 and he had secrectly tried to cantact me last year the day before he went to join the marines out of state , I missed his call and now i'm not sure that i'll ever get to talk to my son since the people that have him have threated him to not contact me or well i don't want to get into details but they are using their money and property to get what they want ,And i know that that's against the law. Also i found out that the guiding adlightem had informed the people that have him to keep him away from me , And i know that that is also against the law. | |

She got ONE swat on her butt. She told them that we beat the kids for not doing dishes. I ask my daughter if she knows anything and she says they are going to talk to you because you arent supposed to hit me! Long story short I talk to counselor and Principal and I get "its our policy, just tell them the story and I'm sure they'll understand that its your daughter. Its out of our hands" So this "Social Worker" asks if we will spank our kids again, my husband said if they need it yes, social worker said then I have to take all 5 kids tonight. I can count on one hand how many times my kids have been spanked. My 15 year old talks back, lies, doesn't get anything higher than a D- and ditches school. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME SINCE LAST SUMMER SHE GOT SPANKED! ONE SWAT ON THE BUT ONE! AND NOW THIS JERK WANTS TO TAKE ALL MY KIDS FROM ME. SO IF MY KID ENDS UP RAPED, ON DRUGS, A THEIF, JAIL OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT I'M A HORRIBLE MOTHER AND IF I TRY TO PREVENT THIS WITH A SPANKING OR TALKING TO MY KIDS I'M A HORRIBLE MOTHER. I can't discipline my kids cause she has his card... all she needs to do is make a call and I lose my family. AND SHE KNOWS THIS. She now has a free ticket to do as she pleases. I either discipline and risk losing my kids or I let her run wild and risk losing her. Either way we lose. Either way we are bad parents. Had these teachers did a little more investigating our lives would not be upside down. Funny how my daughter failed to mention she doesn't get spanked on a regular basis. Since elementary school I've been asking, begging for help... AND NOTHING!! THIS TEACHER COULD'VE ASKED HER OTHER TEACHERS IF THEY HAVE SEEN SIGNS OF ABUSE. I TALKED TO MANY OF HER TEACHERS ABOUT HER. She goes and cries to a counselor that wasn't even her counselor. These people don't understand what they have done.If they felt they needed to call they could've still done it after they did more investigating. They didn't need to jump the gun like this. She didn't tell them that her parents work really hard to support her shopping, she has a car that all she had to do was get good grades. We have tried the reward system...the take away your things...ect, ect... IT DOESN'T WORK WITH THIS KID!!!! I took away her make up and she cried wolf. All our kids hear I love you about 100x or more a day. They are healthy, they have everything they need and more, I'm not a drug addict, a drunk, out in the streets, my kids are my life, we go without so our kids can have. But that's all in vain. It all goes out the window because you swat your kid for being out in the streets, for lying, talking back with attitude. I SEARCHED FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR OVER 2 HOURS SHE DIDN'T ANSWER HER PHONE I FOUND OUT SHE LEFT SCHOOL AT 2 AND IT WAS ALMOST 5. I WAS SCARED MY DAUGHTER WAS HURT. SHE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME SHE WAS BEING POLITE WALKING A BOY, AN OLDER BOY HOME. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN SCHOOL. SHE DIDN'T GET HOME TIL 7. ONE SPANK ON THE BUTT, JUST ONE. CPS WANTED TO ARREST MY HUSBAND AND TAKE ALLMY KIDS, MY 2 YR OLD BABY, MY 5, 10, 13 YR OLDS. AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. Ever since a year and a half ago, when the school district, my son is in, combined four elementary schools into one, the new school has been reporting me to Children Services. My boy gets and has always gotten bruises on him ever since he was old enough to walk. He is just a clumsy, flighty, daring, happy, country boy. He's an Epileptic through heredity, has had bowel problems since he was 3 or 4, is involved in the sports of wrestling and football, is a regular sleep walker, and is very short for his age. All of which have contributed to the bruises and reports from the school in one way or another. He has been attending this district for 5 years now and ever since the combining of the schools, both my kids have gotten hurt at school more times in the past year and a half than they in their whole school career. My son, age 10, even gets most of the bruises at school in the morning and then the school calls and reports me in the afternoon. The district really bit off more than they could chew. There aren't enough staff members for the amount of kids they have and they obviously can't account for all the students safety. They began reporting us in December of 2007 and then a few months would go by and they would report us again. When the summer hit we never heard a word from Children Services which is why we know for a fact it is the school. Then he went all through football season and not a word then either. It wasn't until two months into wrestling in which they reported us again. At that time it was over a lump he had on his forehead from a wrestling meet the night before. I even sent a note into the school about it and they still reported me. The school has strip searched him numerous times, when they see the slightest of bruise on his face, looking for more bruises. They have questioned him several times and refuse to let a representative of his own in there with him at the times he is being questioned. They have told him he is a liar when he explains how he got a certain bruise or if he can't remember how he got one. He gets them on his face every once in a while because of his height. Although he is 10 years old he is the average height and weight of a 6 or 7 year old. So his ten year old world doesn't fit him. Everything from most counter tops, his desk, and locker at school is too big or tall for him. Most counter tops and such are at his eye level just out of his peripheral vision and in his blind spot. We have taken him to his regular doctor many times, he now has five specialists at Children's Hospital, I've had his sight checked out, and he has met just about every nurse practitioner in his county health system due to being ordered to go to Kid's Place 3 o 4 times. They now have forced me to remove him from my home and place him with family members. It is not court ordered but they threatened me to do so because if I didn't place him with family outside my home they were going to go get a court order and place him wherever they wanted, in other words, a foster home. The other thing that doesn't make any sense is that Children Services told me they felt it wasn't a safe environment for him but yet they let me keep my other two children, ages 12 and 2 1/2, in my home. They only took my middle child. Our family is being torn apart by all of this and the only one who is abusing him as well as our entire family is the system itself. I feel like my child has died and I mourn for my baby everyday. I have tried to seek out an attorney but we are a low income family and NO ONE will help us without at least a thousand dollar retainer fee. I'm at a loss of what to do and feel so defeated. The system greatly needs to be changed drastically. Any "Joe Blow" on the street at any time should NOT be able to just report you. There also should be a specified amount of times that the same person or people can report on you when your case gets closed unsubstantiated over and over again. At such a time it should be deemed slandering and harassment. Lastly, there needs to be an easier way for lower income families to obtain better lawyers when legal aid is not an option. Someone needs to step up and protect the innocent's family and children from protective services. | |

I took my son in to the doctor because I thought he had a cold, by the end of the day I'm told he has around 15 fractures in his ribs legs and arms, this was the most horrifying thing I could imagine and to add insult to injury I am being accused simply because I am his primary caregiver even though he has been under the watch of others on a daily basis. What is rediculous is that my sons primary physician hasn't even been able to see any of thsese xrays. The doctors at the hospital did not even test for brittle bone disease, which my son shows many characteristics of, and jumped immediately to child abuse and took my child to foster care before any test results had even come back. This is a nightmare and the most heartbreaking painful experience for a mother next to losing a child to death and I don't want any more innocent mothers to have their worlds ripped away. I thankful to have such a wonderful pediatrician that is willing to testify for me as well as order tests necessary to determine if my son has any bone disease that if left in cps hands would go u diagnosed and untreated. | 3,720 | 5:50 pm PDT, Mar 29 | Ms. | amanda newsome | seattle | Washington | 98118 | United States | acouple of yrs ago my 3 boys were takin from me. my husband at the time wouldnt work and i had my hands full and didnt trust him with our kids alone. they came and took our kids because we didnt have money and i missed some dr's appts. which they were saying we were medically abusing my boys. i was doing everything that the dr was telling me. even though some of the results didnt come out like he expected he blamed me for. so after they took them away we tried and did everything they told us to do. come to find out i find out that my ex was doing drugs which explains why we never had money. when the state found out they didnt take him away from the kids didnt give me any options at first they wouldnt even tell me that he failed his UA's. so i left him. during this time everytime it would get close to intergrate my boys into the home they would change social workers and wed have to start all over again. it got to the point where i couldnt make it on my own. i had no family and no support but myself. so i talked to them and asked them if i moved if i could still get my boys back? and they said yes. so i moved where all my family and support were in seattle. once i got up here i was calling the foster care place and they wouldnt take my calls or return my messges. instead they had my so called lawyer call me and say that i have to sign my rights over or they were going to take my rights away cuz kansas decided that they didnt want to do all of the paperwork with washington state. personally i think its because they knew that they were wrong. so of course with no other choice i signed that paper. when i went to get it notorized the state of wa said that it didnt look professional or legal.so i am tryin to expose the state of kansas for their lies and betrayel against me and my family. i am also looking for help through the public cuz im still trying to find someone to take my case cuz im a mother im not giving up on my boys. and i will do whatever it takes to bring them home where they belong since they were wrongfully taken from me. |

She is receiving disability for her disorders and has been treated with great success by our physician of 5 years. She was stable for 3 years on medicine prescibed by our doctor. It is well documented that if exposed to toxic mold, mildew or any chemical that she is sensitive to it exsasburates her ocd and anxiety disorder. This happened on March 13th at that time I sought inpatient treatment thru Fremont Hospital in Fremont California and they referred me to Mills Pennesula in Redwood City California. She was admitted to the adolescent unit for treatment on the 13th. On the 14th at 3am I recieved a call from my daughter stating that she was being transferred to WillowRock Center because none of the 4 psychiatrists would accept her Alameda County Medical. Willow Rock is a incompetent psychiatric center who contracts with Alameda County and their staff changed her meds to zoloft and colanapin for depression. This medication induced paranoid thoughts and behavior in my daughter. I disagreed with this facility about her stability and refused to pick her up on the 18th of March at that time I was threatened by the social worker that she would call CPS on me so against my better judgement I picked her up 2 hours later she attempted to commit suicide do to the side effect of zoloft. I of couse called 911 and she was 5150 by the police and taken back to Willow Rock. The social worker did call CPS and their emergency response team whom contacted my daughter at the center and me at my home. The worker Sandra Theis along with the social worker Jamie Peterson and Dr. David Camiensch all have falsified statements from my daughter as well as from me. They have accused me of not giving her medical attention as well as my physician for misdiagnoising her condition. This was done to cover their behinds for gross neglegence for her attempt to commit suicide. Their crimal activity of child abuse has resulted in CPS accusing me of abuse. Changing her medication is the reason for attempt to take her own life that is their fault. Their coverup is detrimental and criminal to the well being of my child. Stop this facility along with ACSS from wrongfully and illegally accusing parents of abuse. I am sure I am not the first. I am not stopping until justice is done on behalf of my child. These same individuals released her to me with the threat of removal if I donnot comply with their wants. How is it possible that 4 mandated reporters did not report me for abuse yet after being threatened with a call to cps the facility lied 24 hours later and now my family is paying heavily as well as my daughter is afraid of all of them and traumatized by this ordeal. Justice will only be served when these individual lose their right to treat children and are prosecuted for abusing all children they see as well as my own. I sign this petition supporting all who have been wrongfully accused and hope that a full investigation is made on all who have reported mothers falsly and criminally. |

It was found that he had a seizure due to encephalitis from the Avian bird flu. Of course we didn't know how he got the flu and the doctors were trying to cure the flu and run numerous tests and after 3 weeks of being in the hospital with no answers from the doctors we requested to have him transferred for a second opinion. When we asked them to transfer our son they contacted CPS and the police and told them that our son got sick because we didn't give him protein, even though we eat fish, chicken, and beans for protein. They also stated that we denied treatment even though we were at the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks. CPS found that we weren't negligent but our son was removed and to this day has not returned home. The doctors were unprofessional and incompetent and we got our son removed because we did what any caring parents would do. |

Help Mothers who are Wrongfully Accused of Child Abuse
Too many lives in this nation have been destroyed and continue to be destroyed because we mothers have been accused of child abuse and are being accused of child abuse more than ever before.
In the State of California alone, there were over 110,000 who were accused of child abuse last year, and over 330,000 who were accused of this crime in New York.
These figures are extremely high and we must stop this blasphemous act, before it's too late.
There must be justice done to the people who took our children away from us in the first place, and have the accuser investigated throughly, before a child is taken out of his or her home. Those of us who are truly innocent deserve justice also. We have suffered a great deal and alot of us mothers continue to suffer for no reason at all. Remember, that we are the ones who brought our precious children into this world.
We want our children back, and we will do everything in our power to make sure that our children are returned back to us.
We don't believe that a judge, or social worker, or psychologist has a right to determine the type of people we are or to treat us maliciously as these so-called professionals do.
Remember that as much as "human cloning" is immorally wrong, it is also immorally wrong for a child to be taken away from her or his home for a crime that we did not commit. It is morally wrong, and we must do what is right in order to solve this problem immediately!
We, as mothers, hope that your can take action now, to return our children back to us so that our children are safe and have everything they need.
