Adani breached pollution licence 800% next to reef. No public funding for a giant coal mine!

Adani spilled water contaminated with coal next to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, exceeding their permitted limit by more than 800 per cent and breaching their license.

Billionaire polluter Gautam Adani wants to dig a giant new coal mine inland from the Abbot Point coal port where the spill happened.

There is a risk our federal government will hand $1 billion of public funding to prop up this polluting mega-mine.

There's no way we can let Adani dig Australia’s biggest coal mine – which threatens to drain and pollute groundwater, wreck our climate and destroy our Great Barrier Reef.

By signing this petition, you're joining the biggest movement in Australia's history. The more people who join our community, the more pressure we can create on Adani. This mine is a line in the sand. We will #StopAdani.

Sign the petition to Malcolm Turnbull – don't give Adani public funding. Together, let's call for our money to be invested in clean energy, not wrecking the Great Barrier Reef.
Subject: Don't give Adani public funding

Dear Prime Minister Turnbull,

During the election you said there would be no public funding for Adani. Adani's Reef-killing coal mine is not public infrastructure. Don't waste public money on it.
