Stand Together to Stop Violence Against Women

Homelessness and violence are inextricably linked - and not in the way you might think. On any given night, over 600,000 people in the United States find themselves homeless.

Studies show that domestic abuse is major cause of homelessness among women. In order to escape abuse - and with nowhere else to go - women resort to living on the streets.

This trend isn't unique to adults - nearly half of homeless kids say they left home because of physical abuse. Once homeless, kids are even more vulnerable. Lonely, scared and hungry, they are at a much greater risk of falling victim to the vile industry of human trafficking.

Join us in advocating for the safety of women and children everywhere, so they don't end up on the street... or worse. Add your name to the pledge and join Covenant House as an advocate for victims of abuse and homelessness.
