Environmental leaders and many of this countries largest companies support passing mandatory limits on carbon emissions and with a robust trading system. And polls have shown a strong majority of Americans - including a majority of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents - favor such a plan.
We need to make 2007 the year for effective global warming action!
