Help Save South African Farmers

Target: Thabo Mbeki, President of South Africa, South African Goverment
Sponsor: Johan de Klerk
  • Signatures: 567
  • Goal: 5,000
  • Deadline: 10-9-2002
Petition Target: Mbeki Thabo, President of South Africa

Over the past 7 odd years, more than 1000 farmers have been killed and the goverment continues to drag their feet instead of taking action. On 8 Jan 2001 the Minister of Justice, Steve Tshwete, promised an investigation into farm attacks - nothing has been done yet.

What is the government of South Africa waiting for? - these the people that deserve protection, these are people whose victimization deserves attention, these are the people that supply food to the entire country!

By not acting, the government stains its record with the death of innocent victims. Stop killing the SA farmers - wake up goverment!

571 2:32 pm PDT, May 13 Johan Botes   South Africa Although I know the racist government will never do anything to protect white citizens, I'll sign the petition. At least 3 entire white farming families are murdered every day, and the government denies it to be political and racist.

568 6:45 pm PST, Jan 20 Anonymous New Jersey United States My biological father is a farmer in South Africa. My adoptive parents still live there. What has happened to the land I called home? Something needs to be done to protect the white South Africans and the land that they worked so hard to keep beautiful.

566 4:04 pm PST, Dec 9 Donnie J   South Africa I have family who are farmers. It is SO sad to see pictures of what savage murderers have done to so many of our farmers. I worry so much about my own family and also people I have never met. I feel these murderers are such cowards, choosing victims who are isolated and have no chance of calling for help. Killing old people who can hardly defend themselves, and never have done anyone any harm. Anyone looking here, I don't know if it's permissible to promote other sites, but have a look at dienuwesuidafrika.blogspot.com if you want to see something that turned my stomach. This is not propaganda, this is real. It is something we read about in the papers nearly every day. It shows pictures of people who have had their heads sliced in half, or the top cut off, obviously with a panga. It has pictures of a mother and her two young children hanging dead in their home among other similar sights. Crime is bad in the built-up areas, in rural districts it is so much easier for the perpetrators. Cry the beloved country.
565 11:38 am PST, Dec 9 Mary J. McCormick New York United States The world feels betrayed by the violent inhumanity and the apparent complicity of the government in the slaughter of whites in South Africa. This inhumanity teaches the world what it can expect from "equality" and justifies those who preach against it. Shame on those who are responsible for the genocide and the government 'aiding and abetting' it.

542 12:03 pm PDT, Sep 15 Israel for SA   United Kingdom Remember the Israeli people, forgotten and under attack, from a murderous terrorism. They fought back. They protected what was theirs. Today their farms blossom in the desert bacause they were resolute and defended what was their G-d given land. They were once small in number but now dictate to an entire region! The man who strikes first usually wins the fight! Stand firm and protect what is yours.
