Lana is a sweet and loving 3-yr-old pup who has had to fight for her life and home all her life. Because of her background, she has had a hard time finding the right forever home. After being in and out of shelters her whole life, Lana is back at a shelter in Canada.
But the shelter won't have room for her past May 20th and are threatening to put her down if she can't find a home by then! Sign the petition to ask the shelter to keep her there until the right family comes along to bring her home!
Lana was born in Mexico and as the runt of the litter had to fight for her food everyday. For this reason, she can be protective of her food. So in one of her homes, she snapped at the mom while being fed and the family grew nervous because they had small children. That's when Lana ended up at another shelter and this photo was taken.
Lana refused to eat or go on walks, she was so lonely and sad.
Lana just needs a patient family who will help her gain her confidence back. She also needs to live somewhere with plenty of space to run and play. Lana loves being outside!
