Americans Unite for the Preservation of Constitutional Rights

Show the Federal Government that you are tired of being misrepresented and having your Constitution disregarded.

During the last few years, the rights and freedoms of American citizens have been increasingly limited.  From the upcoming possibilities of the Church State overturning Roe v. Wade and other civil liberties cases, to the NSA first lying about and then admitting to spying on American citizens- the Constitution has never been more disregarded as it is now.  The Federal Government's stance can be summed up by a paraphrase of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales: the Constitution is an outdated piece of paper with no practical application in modern life.  And, keep in mind that this isn't even mentioning the fact that the Jack Abramhoffs of the country are usurping the law-making process and simultaneously insulting the American people.  While people like me and those of you who choose to sign this petition are called "un-American," the true un-American people are those who advocate unaccountability to the Constitution.  This petition is not meant to change any one specific issue in the world; there are plenty of other petitions for that.

THE ULTIMATE AIM OF THIS PETITION IS AS FOLLOWS:  We, the people of the United States of America, are unhappy with the present conditions of our representation.  We feel that we are not being represented for our benefit, but rather the benefit of the few.  All true Americans know the possibilities of the people to change the current State and Federal installations.  We want you, the Federal Government, to know that we are watching you.  It is our Constitutional right to preserve the rights of the people at all costs.  The names signed below are requesting changes in the bureaucracy- do not ignore them, because unheard requests become demands, and unheard demands become necessary force.  One way or another, the People and their Constitution will remain sovreign.
