We are concerned members of the United States Wushu community. As you are aware, the USAWKF Board of Directors, under the direction of Mr. Jeff Bolt, followed all procedures to properly select a US Team. At the same time, Mr. Anthony Goh, the refuted president of the USAWKF has organized his own team, without following USAWKF bylaws that he wishes to bring to the 2001 World Wushu Championships.
The IWuF recognizes the USAWKF as the representative body for wushu in the USA, not a single individual, therefore I call upon the IWuF to recognize the team selected fairly by the USAWKF Board at their April 21st trials in Berkeley, California, not the team selected by Mr. Goh at his own private event held in Baltimore, MD on April 28th.
Regardless of the legal situation over the presidency of the USAWKF, the US Team situation is clear. Mr. Goh has not followed the bylaws to select a team! Furthermore he does not represent the interests of the Wushu community in America! We demand that he must NOT be allowed to represent the United States of America at the World Wushu Championships.
