Adidas - stop using Kangaroo leather!

This petition was set up to persuade Adidas - the company importing the largest amount of kangaroo leather - to stop using the material and therefore help ending the trade of the Australian 'Kangaroo Industry'. Kangaroo shooters bash the in pouch offspring of shot mothers to death while the still dependent at foot joeys face a certain slow death without the protection of their mothers. This procedure is considered humane according to the "Code of Practice for the Humane Shooting of Kangaroos" set up by the Australian government. But no organisation is checking on the kangaroo shooters' methods and cruelty towards the animals has been witnessed (see www.savethekangaroo.com).
