Tell Rand Paul He's Wrong About the Environment

When it comes to key issues concerning protecting animals, wildlife, and the environment, Rand Paul's positions are dead wrong.

As senator, he has voted against clean air protections for our children and for more dirty drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and off America's coasts, threatening polar bears, dolphins, and whales. He voted to approve the environmentally destructive Keystone Pipeline and to undermine the Clean Water Act.

In fact, the latest editions of Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund's Conservation Report Card and The League of Conservation Voters National Environmental Scorecard gave Paul a zero percent for his voting record.

We need leaders who will protect our wildlife, wild places, and the environment. If we speak up now, we can show Rand Paul that the American public demands a president who will protect our air and water.

Please sign the petition now and tell Rand Paul that you want a president who will protect the environment.

Senator Paul:

From your support of the Keystone XL pipeline and efforts to undermine clean air and clean water protections, you have consistently voted in the Senate against the interests of public health and the environment.

I hope you will adopt a dramatically different approach in future votes and in developing your presidential platform.

Update #18 years ago
In his new book, presidential hopeful Rand Paul describes himself as a "tree hugger." CNN and other media outlets won't call him out, but you and I know the truth. He's a climate change denier who votes for Big Oil subsidies and against vital protections for our air, water, and wildlife. Will you help set the record straight? Share this petition with your friends on Facebook and email, so they know the truth about Rand's rotten record: http://bit.ly/1d9JuYV
