This petition is for save a complet ecosistem where the jaguars are included, but not only them, with massive destruction of the forest wichi comunity and a lot of people is going to loose a way to live
The Pizarro Reserve was created in 1995, in Anta, Salta Province in the north-west of Agentina; then in 2004 the local goverment decide put on sale and some enterprises wnat to plant there transgenic soya, fruits trees and breed cows. Some of the entreprises involved are Everest S.A. and Initium Aferro S.A.
In June, ambientalists groups like FARN, Vida Silvestre (asociated to WWF), Greenpeace, the Wichi's comunity "Eben Ezer" and University of Salta ask to Salta's Justice stop with this but they dont have an answer yet.
Today, September the 29th our president Nestor Kirchner received in the Pink House a group of artists defending the reserve and representers of Vida Silvestre, Greenpeace and Red Solidaria...but I think is only the begining, is the reason I ask all you, pls help me to let them know the rest of the world knows what is happening here and the rest of the world also wants this reserve inthe right hands.
