World is on track to lose two-thirds of its wild animals by 2020, demand action!

A horrifying new study shows that the world is on track to lose two-thirds of our wild animal population by 2020 unless urgent action is taken.

As a world leader, the United States should help lead this urgent action. Sign this petition to demand that whoever our next president is, they commit to making wild animal conservation a top priority in their first 100 days in office.

The dip in populations of wild animals is due to things like pollution and habitat destruction, things that we have a lot of control over, if we just prioritize them. Poaching and exploitation for food is another issue. As humans, we are beholden to the environment for clean air and water and also inspiration, beauty, and relaxation. These things must be a priority now more than ever.

Some animals on the brink of extinction have been brought back by concerted human effort, proving that it is not too late. Please add your voice to demand the next leader of the US commits to protecting our wild animals.
