I Swear Not to Litter Campaign

At a minimum, if we all were to no longer litter, that alone would establish the United States as the leader in environment. Caring about our environment requires nothing more that a true since of self esteem. With this, we can eventually exceed the standards of the Kyoto agreement.
I created and signed the petition: "I Swear Not to Litter Campaign" that is to eventually go to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
By taking a single step in not littering we have set a precedent in sending the message to our law makers of who we are, what we think of ourselves, and about the environment that we expect to live in.
It is in our voice that moves this nation. We do not have to, nor should we wait on the fuzzy promises of others that someday off in the future that emissions will be down !
In signing this petition, we have demonstrated our committment, and raised and set expectations of, and empowered our representative government to help take the next steps necessary for making a cleaner and healthier environment.
As we are not littering, leaves them no room for industry to litter, pollute, or lay waste to our environment and eco-systems. All environmental issues can now be pro-actively on the radar of law makers !
Like Government, Industry will get the clear message of our expectations for the environmental standards that we expect for our selves now and how this is to be respected and regarded now.
