Justice for rape victim Beatrice

Dr. Jill Caruso, DVM performed the autopsy on Beatrice and declared on February 7 the following signed statement - "It is my professional opinion that Beatrice was a victim of sexual abuse and the abuse resulted in her having both a rectal and uterine prolapse." The only thing that could be worse than this abuse is that this is not the only case of this very unique type of abuse in the very same geographic area. The article states "At this time, the rescue organization has not been given any information where Beatrice came from, except that another dog from the same home had been turned in last year with a severely prolapsed uterus." Not only is this not a coincidence, but Rescue Dogs Rock NYC spoke to several vets who agree that nothing "just happened" (without human intervention) that would cause BOTH the uterus and the rectum to prolapse. Rescue Dogs Rock NYC heroically stepped in to help this helpless dog, raising over $12,000 for her surgery, but she passed away in the operating room. But because RDR NYC stepped in and secured an autopsy of Beatrice, the facts make certain that there is a serial abuser on the loose in a North Carolina neighborhood. We are requesting that you direct the State Police to initiate an investigation to find the facts behind this abuse and to coordinate with the FBI for their support and assistance. The FBI will collect data on four types of animal abuse including dog fighting and animal sexual abuse. As horrible as the pictures are to see, we must recognize what sexual abuse of a dog looks like so that this kind of condition no longer gets ignored as it did by the local authorities with jurisdiction. Your office has the authority to ensure that this crime is not swept under the rug or ignored as the injuries to the previous dog surrendered with such injuries illustrate, and that whoever and whatever is causing such mortal injuries is stopped before more harm is done to other defenseless animals and perhaps even children in the same neighborhood or even home.

Another dog in Georgia just suffered identical injuries as well, and validates the need for a state level investigation of this case, which may be the tip of an iceberg or perhaps even a crime syndicate similar to those established to fight dogs.
