All New Yorkers Deserve Access to Art and Music

Access to art changes lives, inspires creativity and brings tremendous vibrance to a community. New York is uniquely full of amazing art - from the symphony to the ballet, local theater to world class paintings and sculpture. But at times it can seem that access to these resources costs more than budget-strapped families can afford.

t's vital that people from all walks of life have access local arts and arts education, and for many that access comes from public broadcasting. From the amazing programs broadcast every day, to up-to-date news on local performances, galleries and shows, public television helps people young and old access life changing art and music.

But budget cuts being threatened in Washington could cripple this resource and the tremendous access it gives people New York's cultural resources.

Help keep New York's art accessible to all. Take a stand today to protect funding for public broadcasting and universal access to the arts!
