Tell Arkansas Governor to Veto Discriminatory Anti-LGBT Bill

It's happening again. The same shameful law that has put Indiana on the hot seat is about to become a law in Arkansas please help us try to stop it.

If signed into law, individuals will have an avenue to use religion as an excuse to discriminate against LGBT people and other minorities. The measure has already passed the state Senate, and may be heard as early as today or tomorrow in the House where it is fully expected to pass and be en route to the Governor's desk.

Time is of the essence! Take action now and tell Governor Hutchinson right now how you feel about this discriminatory law. Please join us in speaking out against this hateful legislation before it's too late.

We're fighting 100 anti-LGBT bills or constitutional amendments in more than 28 states across the country right now and your support is helping.
Governor Hutchinson,

You have the opportunity to do the right thing for the people of Arkansas, and for the country. Please veto the discriminatory Religious Freedom and Restoration Act (H.B. 1228).

This ill-conceived legislation threatens not only your LGBT constituents, but also almost any minority group, all in the name of religion. Arkansans deserve better than that. All your constituents deserve to be treated equally with dignity and respect.

Furthermore, you have been put on notice by corporate America including Apple CEO Tim Cook that this law will be bad for business. It would be a shame for you to not only intentionally put some Arkansans in harms way, but also negatively impact business in your state.

I hope that this along with the nationwide outcry around what is happening in Indiana has you rethinking your position.

Governor Hutchinson please do the right thing and veto this legislation.
