With over 9.5 million Care2 members, we can send a message to Congress that we want 100% clean electricity within 10 years! Take this pledge to call your Representatives and Senators.
Call (202) 225-3121 and ask to be connected to the office of your Representative or your Senators.
When you get connected, tell the staff member that you want energy legislation to power America with 100% clean energy in ten years. You can also mention:
- Members of Congress should renew the tax incentives for wind and solar energy investments.
- We need a national energy efficiency upgrade.
- We need a unified national grid to deliver clean electricity efficiently.
Request a written response and repeat the call for your other members of Congress. It's time we speak up and Repower America - pledge to call your Representatives and Senators today!

China is doing more by far to green its energy industry. George W. Bush was always so sympathetic to Big Business that he took little or no signifiicant action to look after our environment and the present and future health of our population. Now we see that Big Business has not seriously lost its clout with members of Congress. Shame!
