Call On Businesses to Protect Customers From Cyber Scammers!

Most of us would never think of flashing our credit card number around in public, for anyone near us to see and steal. Yet cyber scammers stole $800 million from Americans last year alone.

That's why it is so important to never shop online, check your bank account or access your personal information while logged on to public Wi-Fi networks in coffeeshops, hotels, and elsewhere. Yet too many people still don't know those networks are not as secure as their home internet.

That's where malls, hotel chains, coffee shops, and other businesses that provide public Wi-Fi networks should take a stand against scammers.

For example, showing a short, prominent warning against sharing sensitive data when a person logs on to a public Wi-Fi network would be an easy way to help people keep themselves safe from exposing their credit card number and other personal data to scammers.

Help support this simple step in the fight against cyber fraud today. Add your name and call for business who provide public Wi-Fi to do their part in the fight to stop scammers before they strike!
