Bill Description: If passed, this bill would require retailers to ensure that young parrots are weaned — able to eat on their own — before the animals are sold to consumers. In addition, the bill establishes basic sanitation, veterinary care and housing standards for birds in pet shops.

We must educate our Legislators who do not understand what it means to share your home with a bird.
