The mother whose breast cancer was found early through a routine mammogram; the boy who hurt his arm learning how to ride a bike and an X-ray found the exact location of the break; or the father whose chest CT showed that the blockage was worse than anticipated and informed doctors that immediate action was needed.
We need your help to make sure Congress repeals the medical device tax, which threatens innovation for these life-saving tools.
The medical device tax will slow the introduction of new, advanced technologies like 4D ultrasound and cardiac CT scans that detect diseases early and help patients survive. With an aging population, people with disabilities living longer lives, and chronic disease rates growing, a tax that hinders medical progress doesn’t make sense.
