Stop Assault on Women's Rights

Current Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott announced his new crusade against women's rights and a woman's right to choose.
He told radio listeners that when it comes to legislation banning abortion, he:
"will call it up, we will pass it, and the president will sign it. I'm making that commitment -- you can write it down."
Trent Lott has stepped down from his Majority Leader seat, so it's the perfect time to urge his replacement, as well as the rest of the Senate, to take a more reasonable stance on abortion. Protect women's rights and let Frist know that Americans don't want extremists in the Senate.

To Senator Frist and members of the Senate,

I believe the decision to choose a safe, legal
abortion should be a woman's choice - not
yours.

As a Republican who believes that "less
government is good government" I urge you
to use your Senate post to stand behind that
claim. Please keep the government out of a
woman's body, and preserve her right to choose.
Protect a woman's freedom to make this most
personal decision without government interference.
