It's bad enough that almost *every* store has junk food at checkout. But a pharmacy? Ouch.
Walgreens can do better. Customers like us want better options, and we want to feel like stores have our backs when it comes to making healthy decisions for our families.
Nationwide, over 90% of the items at checkout are for junk foods and drinks.
Placing junk food at checkout puts parents in the tough position of having to say “no” over and over to kids as we're stuck in line, even if we've successfully avoided junk food in the store and we’re promoting healthy habits at home.
Offering a healthy check out experience would prove their commitment to building healthy families and communities.
Tell Walgreens to back up parents and families, and get rid of junk food at the check out line!
