Some of them were dead and other hens were standing on top of them. 9 hens were crammed into a small wire cage and the cages were pilled on top of each other. The hens at the bottom got all of the pooh landing on them and some hens got their heads stuck in the wire and got caught there and died. They don't stand on flooring instead they stand on metal wire which is the bottom of the cages. It is terrible what is happening and it needs to be stopped. |

HELP BAN THE HORROR OF BATTERY HENS !!!
The battery hens spend all there reproductive lives in tiny, empty, wire cages that are so small they cant move, just to suply eggs to shop shelves !
Its hard to explain just how appualling the conditions of the hens and there enviroment is until you've seen them in person or at least in pictures.
Australia has been fighting battery hens for years and years with still no change.
Im starting with Queensland and working my way to hopefully one day ban battery hens compleatly in Australia.
If your not from Australia you might think "well why should i care", but were not doing it for Australia, were doing it to stop this brutal method of farming ( that is happening in other countries too! ), for the animals and there rights and for humane justice,
In hopes to stop battery hens in other states and countries.
