Winter is coming —Help protect children who need us the most

Seven-year-old Mahmood and his sister, six-year-old Zahra, fled their home in Syria earlier this year with their family. They're among 30 million child refugees on the run from war, famine, and natural disaster in the largest refugee crisis since World War II. Meanwhile, back in Syria, millions of families left behind are facing a desperate situation as another harsh winter approaches.

But it doesn't have to be this way. UNICEF is working to support refugee children and address the root causes of this crisis.

Pledge $10 to help UNICEF provide lifesaving support to children like Mahmood and Zahra today.

With freezing temperatures setting in across the region, UNICEF and its partners are providing support to refugees and to millions of people in war-torn Syria and its neighboring countries without access to basic lifesaving services.

In Syria last year alone, UNICEF and partners helped 16 million people get access to safe water, provided 37.5 million doses of polio vaccines to contain an outbreak, and distributed learning materials to 2.8 million children no longer able to attend school.

Mahmood, Zahra, and vulnerable children around the world deserve safety, health, and a happy childhood. UNICEF works every day to keep millions of children safe. Make the pledge today to help UNICEF provide lifesaving support to children in need around the world.

I pledge to donate $10 to help UNICEF support children on the run and in desperate situations around the world this winter.
