Dear Senator/Congressperson,

I am writing to urge you to do everything possible to prevent further death in Iraq.

Without a doubt, Saddam Hussein is a ruthless dictator, who has harmed his own people and threatened other nations. The people of Iraq deserve a better leader.

Yet, even the Pope has declared this war an unjust war. How can we continue on when much of the world opposes what the U.S. has decided to do? We have already gravely damaged our relationships with our allies. We are fomenting hatred of America in the Arab World.

We support our troops and that is why we want to bring them home. Please work with the United Nations to find a quick solution to this crisis. Stop the bloodshed and join with other nations to protect innocent Iraqis and Allied soldiers.
